TERMS OF USE
By using the Rentura.ba platform and its applications, each User confirms that they are familiar with the terms and conditions of use outlined in these rules, as well as any subsequent changes, without prior notice or notification. For any relationship not regulated by these General Terms within these Rules, the applicable laws and regulations of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall apply.
INTRODUCTION
- 1. The terms and conditions of use apply to the online portal www.rentura.ba and the mobile applications that belong to the Rentura.ba domain, hereinafter referred to as the RENTURA online portal.
- 2. The online portal www.rentura.ba is owned by OD Alecta BH. Rentura.ba allows its numerous visitors and Users (hereinafter referred to as the User) to: view all ads posted by platform Users, access various services available within the platform upon account registration and activation, and publish their own ads under the prescribed terms.
- 3. A User is any individual or legal entity that accesses and/or uses the services of the RENTURA online portal, including unregistered Users, registered Users, and business entities using the services of the www.rentura.ba portal. By accessing and using the Rentura.ba platform, the User confirms that they are legally capable of using it and enters into a contractual relationship with OD Alecta BH regarding the use of the platform, in accordance with the applicable regulations of their country of residence.
- 4. Rentura.ba does not charge any fees for posting ads nor does it collect commissions for rentals or other forms of service distribution from ads. Therefore, it does not act as an intermediary in transactions between two platform Users.
- 5. OD Alecta BH and the users of Rentura.ba services agree to fully comply with the rules and conditions outlined in these Rules while using the platform.
TERMS OF USE POLICY
Article 1. General Provisions
During the use of Rentura.ba, the terms outlined in the rules apply, along with all applicable laws in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Rentura.ba reserves the right to change the content of these Rules at any time and without prior notice. Changes take effect the moment they are published on this web portal and apply to all past and future Users. RENTURA is not obligated to send individual notifications to each User regarding changes in terms and conditions of platform use.
Article 2. Services
Rentura.ba is a unique web portal that offers users a fast, easy, and simple search for vehicles (cars, quads, and electric bicycles) available for rent throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Rentura.ba web portal should be understood as a virtual advertising space solely owned by OD Alecta BH (similar to a notice board or print ad portal), where Rentura.ba offers users designated advertising spaces to rent or provide transportation services, with a special note that users are solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, authenticity, and general legality of the information in the posted ad. Rentura.ba serves as a practical and reliable platform for connecting end-users with vehicle owners who provide and use rental services.
In accordance with the aforementioned, all posts, ads, messages, texts, technical specifications, images, and other materials published on the web portal are the responsibility of the registered User whose ad contains such information.
Rentura.ba does not charge any fees for placing ads in the virtual advertising space mentioned in the previous paragraph, nor does it collect commissions for rentals or other forms of service distribution from ads.
Rentura.ba will offer its users paid or unpaid services for posting ads on behalf of advertisers, primarily related to promoting and sponsoring ads based on their position in the overall virtual advertising space. Such posting is not considered to mean that Rentura.ba is in any way involved in trade, nor that the advertiser has acquired ownership of any part of the virtual space.
The methods and terms of sponsorship will be defined in separate advertising packages, where the method, price, and conditions of promoting and sponsoring ads will be clearly outlined.
Promotion and sponsorship of ads do not imply that RENTURA has ceded to advertisers any right to influence the layout and appearance of the page, which includes both technical layout and the right of sponsors to request changes to the content published on each individual advertiser’s subpage.
OD Alecta BH is the owner of the virtual space www.Rentura.ba and, in that capacity, independently decides on the advertising method of each individual User, including the possibility of multiple advertisements appearing on an individual display ad position in accordance with different RENTURA advertising packages and the official price list.
In light of the aforementioned, users, visitors, and third parties are informed that Rentura.ba does not offer rental or any other service from the ads posted on the web portal; these services are exclusively provided by registered users of the Rentura.ba web portal.
Article 3. Data Use and Protection
Protecting the privacy of our Users' data when using the www.Rentura.ba web portal is of utmost importance to us.
The collection, processing, and storage of personal data by Rentura.ba is conducted in accordance with the applicable regulations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Privacy Policy, which is available for review to all Users.
Each User or legal entity that accesses and/or uses the services of the RENTURA online portal confirms that they are familiar with and agree with the Privacy Policy.
RENTURA takes all necessary measures to protect the privacy of registered Users’ personal data (name, surname, email, phone number, etc.) in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection, and such data will only be used to connect Users with the aim of vehicle rentals.
Article 4. Copyright Protection
1. OD Alecta BH (RENTURA) has exclusive copyright on the Rentura.ba platform, as well as on individual elements that make it up, such as text, visual and audio elements, visual identity, data and databases, software code, and other components. The exploitation of these copyright objects without the explicit prior written consent of RENTURA (OD Alecta BH) will be considered a violation of copyright, and RENTURA will be entitled to use all available legal means to protect its rights.
2. It is not permitted to modify the content of the platform or its operation in any way, nor to reproduce or publicly display, perform, translate, distribute, or otherwise use it for public or commercial purposes. If a User wishes to use content published on this platform for other purposes, they must contact RENTURA for approval.
3. All types of content, photographs, textual, graphic, advertising, and other materials (hereinafter: content) published on the Rentura.ba platform are solely the property and responsibility of the User who posted such content. Rentura.ba is not responsible for the content in terms of copyright, accuracy, or authenticity. The User is solely responsible in case of any third-party claims against Rentura.ba related to damages and is obliged to take all necessary actions to protect Rentura.ba from such claims. The User agrees to compensate OD Alecta BH for any damages incurred as a result of third-party claims.
4. The platform User allows RENTURA to add its logo or mark to any ad posted for advertising purposes without needing special permission from the User. Also, the User allows the Rentura.ba portal to resize or modify the shape of the ad if necessary to fit the format.
Article 5. User Exclusion
Rentura.ba reserves the right to exclude or sanction any User who violates the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the rules and conditions of use, disrupts the site's operation, or violates the rights of advertisers and Users in any way.
The User is strictly prohibited from:
- Illegally obtaining RENTURA points by system abuse,
- Creating or using duplicate profiles (except for those approved by RENTURA administration),
- Representing other websites under the name Rentura.ba (in all combinations that suggest exploitation of the Rentura name) or unauthorized representation on behalf of Rentura.ba,
- Engaging in any form of fraud related to user account or system operations,
- Providing inaccurate, misleading, or outdated information about rental ads or services offered.
- Deleting and/or ending ads, then reposting the same or similar content by abusing the system,
- Posting or presenting ads under false, non-existent, third-party, and/or otherwise inaccurate information, especially regarding location, phone number, email address, and basic technical information about the vehicle being rented,
- Copying content published on Rentura.ba and posting it in/on another advertising medium,
- Inciting the spread of racial, national, or religious hatred,
- Inappropriate communication,
- Failing to comply with other notices, rules, warnings, and restrictions listed on the Rentura.ba pages.
Article 6. Guarantees and Compensation for Damages
Alecta BH does not guarantee that the operation of the Rentura.ba portal will be uninterrupted due to certain technical complications or force majeure, and commits to addressing such complications as quickly as possible.
Additionally, Rentura.ba does not guarantee:
- the accuracy, authenticity, or truthfulness of advertisements or the text within them, nor the quality, safety, or legality of the services offered,
- that there will be no errors on the site and/or that it will function without interruption at all times,
- that third parties will legally use Rentura.ba at all times.
Users agree to bear any risks related to accessing and using the content on this website, and that RENTURA will not be held responsible for any direct and/or indirect damages arising or that may arise from access, use, or inability to use Rentura.ba, as well as any errors or omissions in the content of this website.
RENTURA disclaims any responsibility for claims by Users or third parties for compensation or any other grounds related to content posted by advertisers; the advertiser assumes full responsibility. The advertiser agrees to compensate Rentura.ba for any costs and all damages arising from claims by Users or third parties on any grounds.
Article 7. Limitation of Liability
Rentura.ba, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaims any liability for damages, losses, or injuries that may occur directly or indirectly due to:
- • the use or inability to use the Rentura.ba website,
- • the use of websites linked to from Rentura.ba,
- • information or services obtained, provided, or received, or messages received via the Rentura.ba portal,
- • actions taken or not taken in relation to information on the Rentura.ba website,
- • the use of other websites where content is unauthorizedly presented in the name of Rentura.ba,
- • unauthorized access to or alteration of User transmissions or data,
- • statements or actions by any third party regarding the Rentura.ba portal,
- • the use of websites not under the www.Rentura.ba domain, where content is unauthorizedly presented in the name of Rentura.ba, visually copying or in any other way.
RENTURA may at any time change, update, temporarily or permanently suspend or restrict access to certain platform features. Rentura.ba portal is obligated to inform Users through the designated communication channels, and in doing so, Rentura.ba disclaims responsibility for the exclusion of the aforementioned functionalities.
RENTURA reserves the right to modify, edit, or delete any data posted by Users on the portal at any time without notice if it deems that the data is not in accordance with these Rules, and excludes its responsibility for possible consequences of such modifications.
The User assumes full responsibility for selecting services to achieve intended or desired results, as well as for installing and using the services of the Rentura.ba portal.
Rentura.ba is not responsible for any legal proceedings or complaints against advertisers based on infringement of copyright or intellectual property rights, as Rentura.ba is neither the author of such advertisements, nor the provider or distributor of the offered advertisements or services.
Article 8. Advertisement
When adding an advertisement on the Rentura.ba portal, the advertiser grants RENTURA the right to transmit information related to the advertisement. Rentura.ba makes every effort to provide quality service to its users, reserving the right to edit, modify, delete, or not publish any advertisements that (without liability or explanation to the advertiser) it deems inappropriate for Rentura.ba, particularly in the following cases:
- • when the advertisement is not related to vehicle rental (cars/vans, quads, or bicycles)
- • when the advertisement is placed in the wrong category
- • if it is a duplicate advertisement (identical advertisement published multiple times or the same services published under slightly modified conditions...)
- • when the purpose, description, and/or price in the advertisement are incorrect and/or incomplete
- • when one advertisement contains multiple vehicles or services
- • when the advertisement is in any way offensive or disrupts the quality of the Rentura.ba content
- • when the content of the advertisement is not owned by the advertiser or is in any way illegal
- • when the service offered could cause damage and/or in any way violate someone else’s intellectual property rights
- • when the advertisement constitutes a violation of the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina or contains any discriminatory aspects
The advertiser agrees:
- • that by posting an advertisement on Rentura.ba, they act as a vehicle provider in accordance with the Law on Obligations, and as such, they are solely responsible for key elements regarding the description and price of the vehicle being offered,
- • that Rentura.ba does not participate in the trade, and thus Rentura.ba does not guarantee or assume any responsibility for the fulfillment of the rental service,
- • that by posting an advertisement, they confirm and are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and authenticity of the data and statements from the technical description of the vehicle, and thus bear all responsibility, both criminal and civil, for providing false information or advertising vehicles and/or services contrary to the positive laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
- • to delete all data about the advertisement within 48 hours if the advertisement is no longer valid, i.e., if the offered item is no longer available,
- • that all information, including photos, becomes the property of Rentura.ba after the data transfer,
- • that the team maintaining Rentura.ba, as well as the owners, are not responsible for damages that may occur due to possible technical downtime or errors during automatic or manual data processing,
- • Rentura.ba does not participate in any commercial part of the advertisement except in providing the service of using Rentura.ba as a virtual marketplace. The rental service takes place solely between the lessor and the customer,
- • Rentura.ba does not participate in any transaction between users. In certain cases, Rentura.ba may offer the service of posting an advertisement on behalf of the seller, but it does not participate in the subsequent commercial part,
- • that Rentura.ba cannot guarantee that featured items, referring to promoted or sponsored items, will always appear on the first pages of search results or at the top of the homepage,
- • that Rentura.ba may delete all data related to the advertisement if the advertisement is in any way invalid or illegal,
- • that their username may be changed if Rentura.ba deems it necessary, without liability to the advertiser,
- • that Rentura.ba will not be used to advertise the same vehicles under different profiles or to advertise vehicles on different profiles using the same contact information,
- • to fully comply with all decisions made by Rentura.ba and its employees,
- • that their user profile and data cannot be deleted without the confirmation of the profile owner and approval from the RENTURA administration. A user profile may be deleted after a period of 15 working days from the moment ownership of the profile is confirmed,
- • that the RENTURA administration decides whether to allow the deletion of a user profile if there is a recorded negative impression on it,
- • to provide Rentura.ba administration with proof of the origin of the advertisement, if requested,
- • that by posting an advertisement, they confirm possession of the necessary licenses, rights, consents, permits, and anything else legally required for the advertisement and its publication,
- • that the amount of RENTURA credit paid for a specific RENTURA profile is usable exclusively for that profile,
- • that Rentura.ba is not responsible for impressions,
Behavior contrary to the provisions of this Rulebook is considered a violation of the Terms of Use of Rentura.ba. RENTURA reserves the right to revoke access to the portal or any part of it at any time if a user disrupts the functioning of the portal in any way or violates the rules and terms of use stated in this Rulebook.
Rentura.ba reserves the right to exclude from further use of the portal any user who abuses published data or uses Rentura.ba without authorization in any way, without prior notice or explanation.
Rentura.ba users agree that all contact is made at their own risk and accept that Rentura.ba has no responsibility and/or obligation for any harmful consequences resulting from user actions. Rentura.ba accepts no responsibility and does not guarantee for any advertisement displayed on this portal, including: ownership of any advertisement, accuracy, and/or truthfulness of descriptions, or the readiness of the user to carry out the rental.
Article 9. Refund for Points
The Rentura.ba portal does not offer refunds for purchased points. Points are purchased at the User's own risk and cannot be returned or exchanged for money.
Before purchasing points, Users are advised to carefully read the terms of use and ensure they are aware of all the risks associated with purchasing and using points.
Article 10. Third-Party Claims
Third parties, users, and visitors are informed that the Rentura.ba web portal, in accordance with the above terms and explanations, as well as Article 23 of the Law on Electronic Legal and Business Transactions (Official Gazette of BiH No. 88/2007), bears no responsibility for information entered by Users of this web portal, for which Rentura.ba only provides access and ad space.
Third parties are informed that, with regard to Rentura.ba services, any disputes arising from the relationship between Users and advertisers, or any third party (arising due to the accuracy of User or advertiser information, offer content, vehicle details, or offer price, especially the authenticity of the products being offered), shall be resolved exclusively between the advertiser and the User. Rentura.ba is not liable for any damages towards third parties, Users, or advertisers, resulting from such relationships.
Additionally, RENTURA is exempt from any responsibility for content searches on the virtual ad board, temporary storage – caching, storing external content – hosting at the User's request, as well as for potentially providing access to third-party information – linking.
Any potential claims from Users, advertisers, or third parties can be sent to the address: info@Rentura.ba, and Rentura.ba commits to responding to each individual submitted request as quickly as possible.
Users, advertisers, and third parties are informed that Rentura.ba is unable to provide access to personal data without a request or order from an authorized body.
In accordance with the above, Rentura.ba commits to immediately comply with any order from the competent authority, without delay, and to remove, delete, and/or modify any ads specified in such an order, particularly those that do not promote free trade under the same conditions.
Article 11. Jurisdiction
Alecta BH reserves the right to change the content on the website www.Rentura.ba at any time, in any manner, and for any reason without prior notice and is not responsible for any possible consequences resulting from such changes.
Any claims or disputes arising from the use of the Rentura.ba web portal will be resolved primarily through mutual agreement, and if this cannot be achieved within a reasonable time, the dispute will be brought before the competent court in Sarajevo.
By using, registering, or visiting Rentura.ba, the User confirms that they are familiar with the Rules and Terms of Use of Rentura.ba and fully accept them.
All disputes will be governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These general provisions and the Rules of Use are published on the Rentura.ba portal.
