Online Purchase Safety

For the safe and successful use of the Rentura.ba portal, we bring you a few useful tips regarding online safety.

Never share personal information such as your credit card number (CVC/CVV number)
To receive a payment from a client, it is enough to provide your bank account number or IBAN, but do not share your credit card number (CVC/CVV number).

Check the email address from which the buyer contacted you
Verify the email address from which you received the email. RENTURA emails always come from the Rentura.ba domain. For a simple, successful, and secure rental process, never send personal information, credit card information, or personal documents.

Correct communication method
Communicate with other users and clients only through the contact details left by the client on their profile or the email you received via Rentura.ba email.

Suspicious links
In addition to the domain, another indicator of potential fraud is text that is often poorly translated from a foreign language or uses a combination of several languages. If a buyer sends you a link claiming that they have already paid for the specified vehicle rental, clicking the link puts you halfway to becoming a victim of fraud, as the link leads you to a new and unknown page (which may look like the Rentura.ba page, the BH Post page, or another site) where you will be asked to enter your credit card details. Never enter personal information or credit card numbers on links forwarded by clients.

The price of the item should be realistic
Price is a key parameter in selecting the desired vehicle, so lower prices often attract you, which can indicate an unreliable seller looking to gain your attention and persuade you to make an advance payment to secure the rental.
Be very careful with advance payments; there is a possibility that the service will not be performed!
Rentura.ba does not charge any fee for posting ads, nor does it charge in the form of commission for executed rentals or any other form of service distribution from the ads, thus it does not represent an intermediary in transactions between two users of the platform and is therefore relieved of any responsibility in case of damage or non-performance of services.

Check user verification
The level of user verification on the profile says a lot about the user's reliability. Avoid trading with users who have not verified their phone number. The reason is simple; a user who has not confirmed their phone number is not a user with a reliable status and should be avoided as you do not know who is behind that profile.

Photos
Photos of the item will tell you a lot. Look at the environment in which the vehicle was photographed, check if the photo was taken from another internet location or if it is authentic. If it is an authentic photo taken by the user, you likely won't find such images online, and if you do find them, feel free to bypass that user.

We hope that the mentioned rules and tips will be helpful and that you will not experience any inconvenience, and that you will be more cautious when shopping online.

Please, if you come across profiles that are fake and suspect they could cause any kind of harm to you or others, report such profiles with conversation images or evidence to info@rentura.ba.

Thank you for using Rentura.ba!
